This Yamaha 12 string acoustic belonged to Jim Moginie. He played it on several Midnight Oil tours and recordings. It was auctioned as part of a charity benefit in 2003 after being autographed by all 5 band members and has a certificate of authenticity from that time. The owner has now donated this instrument for resale to help fund the AUKUS Public Enquiry for which Peter Garrett is the Lead Commissioner. The Enquiry’s report will be released on November 4 when Peter will be addressing the National Press Club.
