Due to overwhelming demand Midnight Oil’s show at the Commodore Ballroom on Friday June 2 has been moved to the Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park on the same night. The band’s decision to move the show to a larger venue follows a deluge of emails and postings from disappointed B.C. fans who missed out when tickets sold out in minutes before reappearing on reseller sites for over $500 each.

Despite an absence of 15 years the band’s entire North American tour sold out within hours proving the deep and abiding connection Midnight Oil built with their fans through so many extraordinary gigs during the 1980’s and 90’s.

Fans who have already purchased tickets for the Commodore Ballroom show are advised that their existing tickets will be accepted at the Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park on Friday June 2. For those unable to attend the show at the new venue, requests for a refund can be made from point of purchase until March 31.

Fans wishing to buy tickets to attend the show at the new venue, Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park on Friday June 2, can participate in a fan pre-sale from 10am PST/EST on Wednesday March 8. Members of the Midnight Oil mailing list will be sent a newsletter with the password and link on the evening prior to pre-sale commencing. Members of the general public will have access to any remaining tickets from 10am Thursday PST/EST via
